Keep It Local, a Mercury-backed campaign to encourage people to use businesses and services in Deal and Sandwich, is being launched tonight (Thursday).
The launch is at a networking evening for businesses at Deal Castle, held between 7 and 9pm, organised by business support company The Best of Deal and Sandwich.
Keep It Local is organised by Deal and Walmer Chamber of Trade, and is aimed at regenerating the high streets and lobbying authorities over issues such as car park charges.
Business people and members of the public are welcome to attend tonight’s networking evening. Refreshments will be provided.
Tickets, costing £7 for The Best of Deal and Sandwich members and £10 for non-members, are available in advance or on the door.
