A charity which supports adults with profound disabilities is joining the Zoom hype to help raise funds during the second lockdown.
Martha Trust, based in Hacklinge near Deal, is offering a night of bingo for up to 48 households on Saturday, November 21.
Starting at 7pm, caller and host Brendan Riley of Big Comedy Bingo will deliver an evening of fun with prizes, topped off with an auction to end.
Adults are asked to donate £10 to participate while children, accompanied by an adult, are free - and there is no limit on the number of people who play per household.
Players will be provided with a bingo card and instructions of how to join via email.
Fundraising and events officer Kerry Banks BEM said: “In an ever changing climate with the pandemic and another lockdown, we wanted to still be able to fundraise safely plus have fun at the same time.
"I always say the first three letters of fundraising are F-U-N! Even though we will be apart, we will all be together for one night online, having fun and knowing we are directly supporting our very special guys and girls at Martha."
Lots in the auction include a Manchester United ball, signed by all the players, a GHD hairdryer and a flight for one in a two-seater Yodel airplane with no expiry date.
Mrs Banks added: "Wherever you live in the country, you can join us and if you are lucky to win prizes, then we will box up and post out to you.”
