Dover Athletic manager Chris Kinnear admits he has been delighted by the impact made at Crabble by new signing Michael Kamara.
The 23-year-old defender, who was born in Athens, arrived last week from Carshalton Athletic, having previously had Blue Square Bet South experience with Boreham Wood and Staines Town.
Kamara’s accomplished performance in Tuesday's 1-0 home win over Bromley included one crucial challenge to deny Elliott Buchanan an equaliser and manager Kinnear said: "Michael did well, like he did (on his debut) at Salisbury and he’s still only a young lad."
Kinnear employed Kamara in the back three of a 3-5-2 formation and, with Steve Watt’s loan switch to Maidstone United having been made permanent and Ian Simpemba still suspended, the 23-year-old’s arrival at Crabble from Carshalton Athletic is timely.
Striker Terry Dixon, meanwhile, has joined Thurrock United on a month’s loan in a bid to gain some match fitness.
