A beauty clinic in Deal has raised more than £1,000 to help feed struggling families this Christmas.
Skinlab on The Strand ran a 12 days of Christmas raffle giving away £800 worth of Alumier products.
Owners Sarah Diamond and Vicky Brailsford sold tickets for £5 each and were delighted to raise £1,090 for Deal Area Foodbank.
They say the cause is close to their hearts after both of their families relied on support from Deal Welfare during the 1984 miners' strike.
Sheila Ward, co ordinator at Deal Area Foodbank, said: "We are very grateful to Skinlab for their very generous donation.
"Our focus at Christmas is on children and those most vulnerable, so that the money raised will be used to buy extra 'treats' for those groups, to give out in addition to the usual produce.
"The money raised makes a great difference."
