Police are appealing for information about a 47-year-old man who has been missing from Dover for more than three weeks.

Robert Carter was last seen between 9am and noon on January 18 at his home in Castle Avenue, Dover.

Police believe Mr Carter may have left home without his wallet and are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare in current weather conditions.

He was last seen wearing a dark coat, possibly a dressing gown, and slippers. He is five feet eight inches tall, with short dark hair, has a fair complexion and possibly a moustache.

Police say Mr Carter is not in any trouble, and are urging anyone with any information that could help to locate him to contact them on 01304 218170.
