Deal Town Rangers FC are celebrating after being awarded an FA seal of approval – the coveted Charter Standard Community Club award.
The award recognises the standards of coaching, administration and child protection at clubs outside the Premier League and Football League.
Club chairman Stuart McCluskey said: "This award displays the club’s commitment to grassroots football in the area and it is pleasing to see that the club’s hard work has been rewarded with such a prestigious award."
The club was formed in 1993 and has more than 350 players representing teams from the under-6s right through to under-16s.
There are also 35 volunteers who run the teams and carry out administrative duties.
