Derek Hares is confident his Deal Town team have turned a corner, despite having lost six games in a row.
Town were top of the Safety Net Kent League, Premier Division in October but have suffered a loss of form in the past three months and current leaders Herne Bay inflicted their sixth straight loss 2-0 at the Charles Ground on Saturday.
Hares said: "A win has been a long time coming and it has been frustrating. We want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. We have been hit-and-miss but we want to try to get it right."
He added: "Herne Bay might have won but it was the best we’ve played for quite a while. We had two or three good chances and might have had a penalty and then we were a bit unfortunate to concede one at the other end.
"There was little between the teams, they just had a bit more quality at a couple of times.
"The game could have gone either way and if we’d scored first, we could have gone on and won. Herne Bay are probably the best side in the league and if we performed like we did against them when we play three quarters of the teams in the league, we’d win it."
Town face a trip to second-bottom Corinthian on Saturday and Hares said: "We have got a great chance to win if we play like we did on Saturday."
Grant Bagley returns from a two-match ban while Mo Takaloo is available again. Hares is also set to hand Simon Moore a second start at right-back after his debut against Bay.
