Police have released an image of a man they want to talk to about an attempt to grab a teenage girl at Whitfield.

It happened at 8.15am on June 10 when the 13-year-old girl was walking along Honeywood Road.

It is alleged that the man approached her and tried to grab her arm. She managed to run to safety and raised the alarm.

The man is described as white, aged around 20 to 25, of slim build, 5ft 6in tall, unshaven and scruffy. He spoke with a foreign accent.
