Ten-man Dover came from behind to boost their Blue Square Bet South play-off chances with a 2-1 win over Dorchester at Crabble.
Dover fell behind to a goal from Nick Crittenden on 32 minutes, the Town man's speculative shot looping into the corner.
However Adam Birchall (pictured) continued his rich vein of form with a reply less than 60 seconds later, breaking the offside trap and slotting past the visiting keeper.
Luke I’Anson was shown a red card after kicking out at an opponent 15 minutes after the break, but eight minutes later Birchall grabbed his second when he evaded close attention at a corner to flick a corner from Lewwis Spence into the net.
Birchall was denied a hat-trick by a close-range block, but despite a less than convincing performance, Whites held on to enhance their play-off credentials and they remain within touching distance of the top five.
