Dover won only their second Blue Square South home game of the season on Tuesday night with victory over Billericay.
It lifted Whites back up to fifth place in the table, but they were helped significantly by two Billericay defensive blunders in the opening 17 minutes.
The first came with nine minutes gone when Barry Cogan's inswinging corner was allowed to fly straight into the far corner of the Billericay net.
Eight minutes later keeper Luke Bartlett made a hash of dealing with Chris Wild's back-pass to present the alert Billy Bricknell (pictured) with an easy tap-in goal.
The Essex club pulled a goal back on 37 minutes, with Wild flicking the ball on for Craig Edwards to force home at the far post.
Whites got a third within eight minutes of the restart when Shane Huke flicked the ball home following a Daryl McMahon free-kick.
The hard-working Bricknell then drove home his second goal three minutes later.
