Dover boss Martin Hayes wants his team to "relax and be positive" as he looks to find the right formula at Crabble to match the unbeaten Blue Square Bet South form on the road.

The Whites' travelling supporters have seen the best of their team so far this season and Hayes, pictured, now wants them to reproduce that form in front of their own fans, beginning against big-spending Farnborough on Saturday.

Hayes said: "Sides will set-up a lot different against us at Crabble.

"We have to be clever and a lot more creative than we were (in the 1-0 defeat) against Eastleigh. In fact, only Welling so far have come and had a go.

"Farnborough are another strong, experienced side and we have to get ourselves going at home, relax and be more positive."

Hayes is excited by the arrival of former Charlton youngster Sam Long, who made his debut as substitute in the 2-1 win at Braintree on Saturday, and admitted he had been tracking the winger for some time.

Long was one of the first players to leave Ryman League, Premier Division crisis club Croydon Athletic and arrived last week.

Hayes said: "I asked about him in the summer but he was staying put, but once we knew what had happened at Croydon, we moved in for him."

Midfielder Kane Rice, however, has been released.
