Dover Athletic have been forced to delay the announcement of the 'exciting' new manager in line to replace Andy Hessenthaler.
Last week Hessenthaler quit Crabble to retake the reins at Gillingham and his replacement was due to be unveiled by the Whites at a press-conference at the Centre Spot on Wednesday, May 26.
Chairman Jim Parmenter described the forthcoming appointment as 'exciting' and revealed the new man was a 'highly-experienced manager.'
However the club have revealed that due to 'legal formalities' that cannot be resolved in time for Wednesday, the announcement has been put back to Friday morning.
