Nicky Forster says it is no good trying to run away from Dover’s miserable home form.
Whites are back on the road when they travel to Bath City on Saturday.
But boss Forster has rejected the idea it will be a relief to play away after back-to-back Blue Square Bet South defeats at Crabble.
He said: "I want to play at home and I want to win at home and put an end to all this rubbish people are spouting about voodoos and things.
"It’s no good trying to run away from the issue by saying we’d rather be playing away.
"We have expectations as players and the fans like to see us win but this problem at home isn’t a recent trend.
"It’s been going on for a few seasons and it’s up to us to work hard to put it right."
The Whites boss added: "I can’t argue with the fact we’ve lost our last two games and haven’t won at home yet.
"What we have to do is break the results down and find out where we’re going wrong."
Terry Dixon (groin) misses the Bath game while Calum Willock (calf) is a major doubt.
