Dover Athletic boss Ian Hendon has swooped to sign midfielder Joe Tabiri from former club Barnet.

The 20-year-old spent the end of last season on loan at Crabble and impressed during his 11-game run in the side as the Whites finished the Blue Square South campaign strongly.

The combative midfielder made his debut for the Bees in League 2, playing 12 games before leaving Underhill on loan.

Whites chairman Jim Parmenter said: "Joe is a really great signing. He was fantastic for us last time round and is a real crowd favourite. I'm sure he will be a crucial part of our side as we aim for promotion next season."
