Andy Hesenthaler says his Dover Athletic side will not worry about which team they are paired against in the Blue Square South play-offs – they will let their opponents worry about them.
Hessenthaler (pictured) wants Whites to finish their league season on a high with victory over Staines at Crabble on Saturday which would secure home advantage in the second-leg of the semi-finals promotion play-offs.
Depending on results, Dover could finish anywhere from second to fourth but there are four teams scrabbling for the final spot in the play-offs, so Whites have no idea who they could face.
Hessenthaler said: "We are not worried about who we play. I have been in play-offs before and once you get to this stage the league goes out the window and it is a lottery over two games.
"You can have a fantastic season and get in the play-offs and then the next minute it is all over. We have to concentrate on ourselves and let the other sides worry about playing us.
"We have worked hard to get in and we have given ourselves a massive chance. Now we want to win it."
Despite there being no away-goals rule in the play-offs, Hessenthaler says his side will still be positive if they start their campaign on the road on Tuesday night.
He said: "I believe we will be away next week in the first leg, whoever that may be against. That means we can come home for the second leg on the Bank Holiday and hopefully we will have a bumper crowd to cheer us on."
Matt Fish and Frannie Collin remain sidelined for Saturday while Jake Marsh and Andrew Miller will miss out as they have a schools final at Gillingham.
