Dover have completed the signing of keeper Ross Flitney from Croydon Athletic, according to the Ryman League club.
Flitney joins Whites for an undisclosed fee, having previously worked with Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler, pictured, at Barnet.
The 25-year-old, who started his career with Arsenal, has also had spells at Fulham, Brighton and Grays.
In a club statement, Croydon said: "Croydon Athletic confirmed they have agreed an undisclosed fee for the transfer of goalkeeper Ross Flitney to Dover Athletic. Ross has agreed personal terms and signed for Dover.
"Ross was instrumental in the success of the Rams' side following Tim O'Shea's arrival last season, and was a popular and influential character both on and off the pitch. He wil be sadly missed but we wish him every success in his future career."
Hessenthaler has been on the lookout for a new keeper since transfer-listing summer signing Lee Hook along with midfielder Tom Davis in November.
Hook started Saturday's 4-0 Blue Square South win over Havant at Crabble but was substituted by John Whitehouse midway through the second half.
