Strikers Elliott Charles and Adam Birchall (pictured) both scored a brace as Dover eased past Safety Net Kent League Erith Town.
Whites comfortably avoided a potential FA Cup second qualifying round banana skin, although it could have been a different story as Erith twice hit the woodwork in the first half.
After good work by Chris Walker, Leroy Huggins hit the post for the Dockers in the 16th minute and it was a similar story for the Erith striker when his header hit the upright later in the half.
But Dover showed their class by taking their chances emphatically with three goals in an 11-minute burst.
Ben Payne missed his clearance to let in Birchall, who set up Charles for the opener on 22 minutes.
Charles produced an identical finish after good work by Sam Long to double the lead on the half-hour before three minutes later Long beat keeper Tim Roberts at his near post to make it 3-0.
Birchall rounded Roberts and slotted home five minutes before the break.
Dover took their foot off the gas after the break but Birchall added a fifth with 20 minutes left after sloppy play by Dean Kearley.
Erith claimed a consolation 10 minutes from time when Tom Wynter needlessly handed in the box and Rikki Cable sent keeper Ross Flitney the wrong way from the spot.
