The family of a Deal man who died during a waterfall accident in Vietnam has made a heartbreaking appeal for more information about his death.
Christian Sloan, 24, of Walmer Way, fell to his death at the Dantala Waterfall in the Lam Dong Province on Friday, February 26.
His body and those of Sheffield sisters Beth Anderson, 24, and Isobel Squire, 19, were found at the foot of the tourist attraction.
This week, Christian’s sister Katie-leigh Cottrell asked for more witnesses who were there on that tragic day to come forward.
Mrs Cottrell said: "As a family we are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has any information as to what happened that day.
"We have spoken with some others who were in the area when this happened and they have helped greatly."
The family would also like to speak to the nurse who attempted to revive the former Walmer Science College pupil at the scene.
"We believe she may be Canadian," Mrs Cottrell said.
"If anyone knows who this person may be or if you are reading this yourself then please, please, contact us.
"As I'm sure many of you can imagine this is a harrowing and heartbreaking time for us as a family and we have made the decision to appeal for further information this way as we feel that the least we deserve is to understand how this tragedy has happened.
"So please share this far and wide, if you have any information or know anyone that does then please don't hesitate to get in contact with us, either on Facebook or via my email kleighcott@gmail.com."
