A Mining Memories day is one of the events lined up for the bank holiday weekend and half-term at Fowlmead Country Park.
On Monday, May 26 people will get the chance to find out about life at Betteshanger Colliery and the Kent Coalfield between 9.30am and 4pm.
Visitors being invited to bring along old mining photos to add to a database about the history of the pit and the community.
On Tuesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 29 a Fossil Foray is being held between midday and 3pm with entry at £2.50 for adults and £2 for children.
Also on Thursday and Friday there is the chance to try archer between 10am and noon at a cost of £2 per adult and £1.50 for a child.
Arty fun with Artlark is available between 2pm and 4pm on Thursday at £3.50 for one hour or £5 for two hours in the Fowlmead Visitor Centre.
