Three fire engines sent to fire at house in St Richard’s Road, Deal

Three fire engines rushed to a blaze at a house.

The alarm was raised after the fire broke out in St Richard’s Road in Deal at 3.40pm yesterday (Wednesday).

Firefighters used an axe and crowbars to access the property, and a fog spike and hosereel jets to put out the flames.

They were at the scene until just after 5.30pm.

A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “No injuries have been reported and the cause is not yet known.”
