Drama in Norman Street, Dover, as vehicles go up in flames

Fire crews were called to a burning Ford Escort van and BMW.

The incident happened in a car park in Norman Street, Dover.

Kent Fire and Rescue received the call at 2.50pm yesterday.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus to get close enough to the vehicles to use foam to tackle the blaze.

It is believed an electrical fault in the Escort started the fire before it spread to the BMW.

Nobody was injured.
