A window has been damaged after an early hour fire which started in a wheelie bin.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in Albert Road in Deal at 2.20am.

Crews in three engines tackled the fire within 10 minutes preventing it from spreading to an adjacent property.

Damaged was caused to the bin, a gas metre and a window.

There were no reported injuries.
