Dover manager Martin Hayes was due to hold a roll-call at training on Thursday as injury and illness threatened his squad ahead of the club’s FA Cup third round trip to Huddersfield on Saturday.
Midfielder Barry Cogan was the biggest doubt with a knee injury that forced him out of the game against Thurrock on Monday, while defender Matt Fish was having treatment for a groin problem.
The Whites boss, pictured, said earlier this week: "We are hoping Barry’s injury is not bad and fingers crossed he will have recovered a lot by the time we train.
"It was disappointing having to take two off injured (against Thurrock), because we have got quite a casualty list mounting up. Having four or five players injured affects anybody."
Hayes, who had the chance to join Huddersfield while struggling to kick-start his career at Arsenal, believes the Terriers' performance will be key to what Dover can achieve in their historic first appearance in the third round of football’s most famous cup competition.
He said: "I only have one session with the boys but will do my homework on them and what they (Huddersfield) will try.
"The best we can hope for is to try and play the same way we did against Aldershot and Gillingham, and then it’s up to Huddersfield really. If they are off their game it gives us a chance."
