As a brand that likes to share the sounds of up and coming bands, Smugglers promises the Good Friday gig will be no different.
Others to take to the stage include Bison Bonasus, Lapis Lazuli, The Stranded Lights and The Selkies.
Bison Bonasus is psychedelic and 80’s influenced weirdo-pop inspired from Canterbury. Formerly ‘Zoo For You’, these guys made a big splash with their first single and continue to be the-band-with-the-buzz on the east-Kent scene.
You can see what they’re all about here.
Lapis Lazuli are truly the incarnation of Canterbury’s psychedelic rock spirit. They are particularly acclaimed for their snaking saxophoning and alien grooving. Click here for a preview.
The Stranded Lights take influence from the greats of the 90s, including Nirvana and The Pixies, having a refreshing similarity to the likes of Tame Impala and The Super Furry Animals.
For a bit of female inspiration, the Selkies are made up of two girl singers and two guitarists with glittering and hypnotic harmonies.
Doors 6.30pm.
