Four teenagers charged and due in court after disturbance in Deal High Street

Four teenagers have been charged after three people were assaulted during a town centre brawl.

The charges come six months after the disturbance in Deal high Street.

Police were called to the town centre at 4.30pm on Tuesday, April 9, following reports of an altercation involving a group of people.

It was reported two men and a teenage boy had been assaulted.

Officers attended the scene, and a pair of teenagers were arrested nearby. Two more arrests were made the following day.

On Wednesday (October 9), a 16-year-old boy was charged with affray, common assault and possession of a class B drug.

A 17-year-old girl was also charged with affray, assault on an emergency worker and common assault.

Two boys, aged 14 and 15, were each charged with affray.

The four teenagers are due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 10
