History enthusiasts wanting to learn something new, can bask in fun and informative online talks that will help them do that.
The virtual sessions are being hosted by Deal based not for profit organisation The History Project which promises to delve into the county's past.
They will take place via Zoom over the coming Fridays and Saturdays starting this weekend.
Topics will include:
- Smuggling on the Kent coast with George Chittenden on Friday, December 4 at 2pm
- Who killed Mary Bax will follow, presented by Sharon Powell on Saturday, December 5 at 2pm
- Coast dwellers will delight in The Story of "Wimpy Fishlock" by Pete Fishlock on Saturday
- Castles on the Coast by George Chittenden is on Friday December 11at 7pm.
- The focus shifts further up the coast with The Mysterious Shell Grotto in Margate by Sharon Powell on Saturday December 12 at 2pm.
George Chittenden, who co-founded the project with Pete Fishlock, said: "Whatever your tastes, we have a topic that will tickle your fancy."
The History Project has made a name for itself in Deal by holding educational workshops for children.
