A hoard of adventurous fundraisers will be getting down and dirty for charity at Fowlmead Country Park, today (Saturday).
Nearly 50 teams are set to tackle the KM Assault Course Challenge being held in the park in Sholden.
Participants will take on balance beams, a water jump, tyre wall and more along the 530m course.
Among the daring teams taking part are employees from London Fancy Box, a leading European designer and manufacturer of luxury packaging, which is also sponsoring the event.
The Dover based company’s CEO Christopher Lawson said: “We are committed to supporting charities and we allocate 1% of our profits to a community fund which is distributed by a team of staff members.
“Our staff are also actively involved in raising money and this year are very happy to be involved in the KM Assault Course Challenge.”
Deal Breastfeeding Support Group and Breakthrough Breast Cancer ambassador Kerry Rubins and her team will also be giving it their best shot.
A star prize of £250 to spend at Bluewater shopping centre will go to the biggest individual fundraiser with other prizes awarded for best fancy dress and most successful fundraising team.
Organised by the KM’s charity department the event is also sponsored by Fairweathers Solicitors.
