Garden waste collections are coming back from next Monday after a two-month suspension.
That had happened because of a shortage of lorry drivers.
Dover District Council says that subscribers to the fortnightly pickups will shortly receive letters confirming the week of their next collection.
The day of the week for these remains the same as before the service was suspended.
To make up for the missed collections the council offer a discount off the subscription for 2022/23 to all existing customers.
As usual it will accept up to six bags of garden waste on each collection day.
A council spokesman said:"We apologise for the difficulties that the suspension of the garden waste service has created for subscribers, and we thank those of you affected for bearing with us."
In August DDC became one of a number of council to suspend the pickup of garden waste because of shortage of lorry drivers.
Contractors Veolia asked for this so they could put household rubbish and recyclable materials collections first.
Several workers were also temporarily put out of action during the summer because of the pingdemic.
This was when people were contacted by the NHS Covid app and told to self isolate after they were though to have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
In the week ending July 25 nearly 700,000 people were alerted in this way.
Garden waste pickups resumed in the Folkestone and Hythe district on September 27, again because of a shortage of drivers, which was contributed to because of the pingdemic.
The shortage of lorry drivers has cause havoc in the last fortnight in that it has taken longer for petrol and diesel to be delivered to forecourts, leading to panic buying.
