A pamper evening tomorrow (Saturday) is set to raise more pounds for Crohn’s and Colitis UK.
The event at Deal Welfare Club from 7pm until 9pm will be hosted by Debbie Hyland, of Gladstone Road.
She says it will be bigger and better than her first pamper evening last October when she raised more than £600.
Treatments on offer include body massage, reflexology, Indian head massage and hair removal technique threading. There will also be tables selling jewellery.
Mrs Hyland said: “I have ulcerative colitis and I am raising funds to help find a cure. This is a bowel disease that has a big impact on my everyday life. Symptoms include ulcers, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, bleeding, lack of appetite, fever, anaemia and fatigue.
“Every little bit I do helps me knowing I’m helping others to find a cure. It could take years but I want to help fight a disease so many people know so little about!”
Admission is £1.
