A spinathon will be held by Deal fitness instructors in aid of Sport Relief

A team of fitness lovers will be mounting bikes in a two-hour sponsored spinathon in aid of Sport Relief.

The energetic fundraiser has been organised by Abi Hicks of the Fitness Mix and instructor Elisa Ellis.

Miss Hicks owns the cycling studio at 22 Mill Hill.

She said: “The Fitness Mix has got a team of 18 ladies and gents together.

“We’re hoping to raise £1000 with everyone’s support.

“Everyone’s really excited and can’t wait for next Friday.”

Spinning is a cycling-based fitness craze on static bikes. The tempo is upped and reduced

at different intervals for a fast-paced and effective cardiovascular workout.

The fundraiser takes place at the Fitness Mix Cycling Studio on Friday, March 21 between 6pm and 8pm.

£10 entry.
