Young Millwall FC supporter Ellice Barr loved every minute of being a mascot for the team at their home game.
The six-year-old from Deal was invited to join the team at the match last Friday by her hero Jed Wallace.
The opportunity arose last month after Ellice’s dad Joe tweeted the player asking for support in his daughter’s campaign to raise £65,000 for life changing surgery to help her to walk unaided.
The Downs Primary School pupil had an exclusive tour of the team’s dressing room and a chance to play on the pitch while the players warmed up, before entering the Den in front of the huge crowd with defender Byron Webster.
Dad and Millwall FC season ticket holder Joe Barr said: “It was a once in a lifetime experience for Ellice and us as a family. Ellice absolutely loved every minute.
“The whole team signed her programme. She also met Sky Sports reporter David Craig and co-commentator Andy Hintchcliffe.
“We would love to thank Jed Wallace for inviting Ellice up.
“Also a massive thank you to Nena Gibson who looked after us and Millwall for allowing this to happen.”
Ellice was joined at the match by 15 family and friends who wanted to support her and plenty more who watched the Sky Sports televised match.
Her fundraising campaign, Ellice’s Wish to Walk, has already passed the £50,000 mark.
More donations include a £750 contribution from Dover East Kent College whose students completed a sponsored walk from the college in Pencester Road through the Eastern Docks on to the Western Docks and back.
London Marathon runner Andy Friend raised an extra £1,500 for the youngster by completing the gruelling city run in record temperatures on Sunday.
