Five households in Deal have struck lucky this lockdown after winning a share of £150,000 thanks to their postcode.

Postcode CT14 7HA was announced as a winner in last night's People’s Postcode Lottery.

It means five people living in the Blenheim Road area of the town have recieved a cash prize of £30,000 just in time for the festive season.

All have chosen to remain anonymous.

TV presenter and People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier has sent his congratulations.

He said: “What a result for our lucky players in Deal this weekend - a big congratulations to them all.

"I hope they enjoy their windfall and can treat themselves to something special with the prize.”

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play with winners every day.

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes to charities.

Players have helped raise more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.
