Hugh Styles won the Formula 18 National Championships for the fifth time in six years at Whitstable.

The Downs Sailing Club member and his Team Boskalis partner Chris Rashley won five races over the three days, and were second in another, sailing their NACRA Infusion catamaran.

Styles and Rashley set the tone by holding off a strong challenge to win Friday’s opening race, and held on against tough competition.
