The husband of missing Deal woman Mariola Cudworth has been charged with her murder.

Mrs Cudworth, also known as Mijka, was reported missing from her home in Northbourne on Thursday, April 30.

Detectives charged Jonathon Cudworth, 34, of Northbourne in Deal, with murder.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates today (Friday) via video link and remains in custody.

The case has been committed to Maidstone Crown Court. No plea was entered.

Police say the last known contact with Mijka was just before midnight on Tuesday, April 28 and she remains missing.

Cudworth was arrested at the weekend.
