KENT Police are continuing investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a 91-year-old woman.

Winifred Sinnock, of West Street, Deal, was found unconscious with facial injuries on Wednesday and taken to the Queen Mother Hospital at Margate.

Her condition deteriorated and she has since died. Police say her next of kin have been told about her death.
