Large chunks of chalk have tumbled down from Abbot's Cliff, between Samphire Hoe and the Warren, after the latest bout of stormy weather.
Volunteer ranger, John Knott, has been to see the remains of the collapse today while litter picking around the area.
Mr Knott said: "There has been a collapse.
"It is quite dramatic. It is behind the beach about 100 yards from a little hut."
According to the volunteer, the cliff has been eroding for a good seven to 10 days.
