A man has been released without charge following a disturbance at a property in Deal on Sunday.

More than five police vehicles descended on Milldale Close about 9pm.

Officers seized a knife and a 31-year-old man was arrested.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 9.08pm on Sunday to reports of a disturbance at a property on Milldale Close, Deal.

"Officers attended the area and arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of affray.

"A knife was seized at the scene and no injuries were reported."
