Visit the Lane today (Friday) or tomorrow for your last chance to try their Oktoberfest menu.

Since Monday, the cocktail bar and restaurant in Southcourt has been paying homage to co-owner Anna Murray's German roots with a variety of German food and drink on offer.

That includes traditional German beers such as Lowenbrau and Erdinger served in one litre stein glasses.

And delicious dishes such as Schweinhaxe - slow cooked pork knuckle with dumplings, sauerkraut and gravy (pictured below).

Huhner Schnitzel - breaded chicken with sautéed potatoes and Currywurst - bratwurst sausage with curry ketchup and fries, are also on the menu.

There is even a vegetarian option of Pilze Mit Knoblauchsoße - mushrooms in a creamy garlic sauce.

Tomorrow night, the staff will be dressing up and are inviting customers to do the same.
