Families are invited to head down to Walmer Green today where they’ll find dinosaurs, music and give-a-ways.
This is for the Walmer parish churches and Walmer lifeboat station open day from 10am.
It has been running for many years and always includes a wide variety of attractions, stalls and guest exhibitors.
This year it will be opened by Pete the Dinosaur, and there will be performances by the Betteshanger Brass Band, guitarists and singers Catherine and Eden and the clown Charlie Chuckle.
Representatives of UK Divers Marine Life Rescue, the Coastguard, Kent Fire and Rescue and the ambulance service will also be present.
Plus, there will be homemade refreshments, bric-a-brac, a tombola and a grand-prize draw.
Live demonstrations will be running throughout the day from 10am until 2pm, which will finish with an inshore lifeboat display.
