Matthew Wimm-Smith of Cambridge Harriers won Sunday's Dover Mercury Half-Marathon.

He led the 430-strong field home in 1hr 16minutes 54seconds with Mark Whittaker (1.17.18)of promoting club Deal Tri in second

Rona Loubser (1.22.27)of Folkestone Runners was the top women and also led her club to the ladies' team prize. Deal Tri were men's team winners.
