A woman had a lucky escape when her car flipped off the A258 Deal to Dover Road into an adjacent field, yesterday (Sunday).

Police were made aware of the vehicle on its roof in a field near Pond Lane at 1.37am.

A spokesman said: “A woman sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening and was taken to a local hospital.”

The vehicle, believed to be black, remains in the field.
