Police are looking for a man who attacked a Polish car wash worker in Dover at the weekend.

Officers were called to the Charlton Centre in the High Street at 2.50pm on Saturday after a report that a 37-year-old man who ran a car wash business at the back of the centre had been punched in the face.

The victim, known as Peter, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and then transferred to a London hospital for further treatment to his jaw.

It is understood he has now been released from hospital after having had his jaw wired back together.

Police say the suspect is a white man, aged between 17 and 20, 6ft tall, of slim build, and was wearing a black T-shirt with a picture of a woman on the front.
