A man was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Deal.

Police and the ambulance service attended the incident in London Road at about 7.15am.

The casualty was taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

A spokesman said: “Kent Police officers attended a report that a car had struck a pedestrian at around 7.13am on Saturday, January 13 on London Road, Deal.

“South East Coast Ambulance Service also went to the scene where a man was treated for injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.”
