A MAN is being treated in hospital at Margate for head and arm injuries after he was struck by a train at Deal station this morning.

Police and fire crews were called after the victim was struck by the 9.27am Ramsgate to Dover service.

British Transport Police are investigating the incident but no further details have been released at this stage. Travel delays are expected and the line is currently closed.
