A female jogger took refuge in a shop after a flasher exposed himself and followed her in Walmer.

The incident happened yesterday on The Strand between 10.10am and 10.55am.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “A man was in the Victorian shelter on The Strand when he exposed himself to a woman who was jogging.

"He then appeared to follow the woman who went to a nearby shop.”

The suspect is white, of medium build, and aged between 30 and 40.

He had short untidy hair and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a dark jumper or coat.
