Deal and Dover firefighters rescued a man who had fallen 25ft off a wall in Priory Hill, Dover, last night.
The man, described to be in his 30s, was lying at the bottom of a steep, overgrown slope when the emergency services arrived around 10pm.
Dover crew called on Deal for assistance, requiring the use of technical rope equipment held at Deal Fire Station.
Crew manager Dan Yates said: “He was at the bottom of a steep, overgrown slope. We had our guys rescue him onto a specialist stretcher. We had to lift him back up the slope.”
He added: “Everyone worked really well together.”
The rescue operation took two hours.
The man was taken by South East Coast Ambulance Service to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
Police were also in attendance.
