A man has been taken to hospital early today after apparently falling over the cliffs near Dover.
It was the second such rescue in the Dover area within 36 hours.
Emergency services were alerted at 3am today following reports the 29-year-old man from Surrey had fallen about 100ft (30m) down the cliff below the access road to the visitor centre area at Langdon Cliffs.
Rescue workers found him in bushes close to where the Jubilee Way viaduct goes over the docks.
Fire crews had to cut the man free, secure him to a stretcher and then carry him about a mile up to the cliff top.
Paramedics monitored his situation throughout the rescue and then took him to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford.
He has suffered from suspected fractured ribs and a broken arm.
On Monday afternoon, rescuers were called to the car park area at the Western Heights after a Land Rover Discovery vehicle crashed through a fence and fell down a steep slope towards the end of the cliff.
It happened at about 5pm.
The driver, a 20-year-old man who was also from Surrey, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken neck.
Staff and volunteers from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership were at the scene on Tuesday repairing the fence and making sure the area was secure for the animals that graze there.
