A young man from Deal was still seriously ill in hospital after being found semi-conscious in a back garden on Friday night.

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of the 23-year-old who was suffering from head injuries outside a house in Mongeham Road, Great Mongeham.

A police spokesman said: "At this time it is not clear how he sustained the injuries."

Police would like to speak to anyone, particularly people who were attending a party in the area at the time, who has information about this incident to contact them on 01303 289180.
