A maritime heritage talk with a difference will take place in Kingsdown on Sunday October 20.
Dr. Marc Arnold (pictured) will divulge a brief history of Kingsdown, the sea and the Goodwin Sands accompanied by music by Natasha Greenham.
The event, organised by Kingsdown Village Hall trustees, takes place at Kingsdown Village Hall in Upper Street at 3pm.
It is an opportunity for the trustees to show off renovations which have been taking place in recent years.
Committee member, Jane Banks, said: “Dr Arnold will talk about the life and times of the lifeboat men.
“There will be singing by Natasha Greenham’s group to supplement pictures old and new.”
Entry is free and refreshments will be provided.
