A man from Capel is among seven people charged with drug offences following an investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
Rodney Stacey, 37, of Victoria Road, Capel-Le-Ferne, who was arrested and charged in May with possession and intent to supply class A drugs, has now been charged with money laundering and additional counts of conspiring to supply class A and class B drugs.
For several months, officers have carried out an investigation into drugs supply. During the investigation, £200,000 cash and class A and B drugs with a street value of £5m were seized.
Michael Rodemark, 57, of Pearsons Green Road, Brenchley was charged on July 5 with possession of class A drug with intent to supply, and a further charge of money laundering on Tuesday.
Mark Birch, 48, of Longfield Place, Maidstone was arrested on Tuesday and charged with conspiracy to supply drugs.
Patrick Goodman, 63, of Mile Oak Road, Paddock Wood was arrested on Tuesday and charged with conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs and money laundering.
Stephen Powers, 56, of Bromley Green Road, Ruckinge, Ashford was arrested in May and charged on Tuesday with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Toby Fieldhouse, 38, of Albion Road, Tunbridge Wells was arrested on July 4 and has now been charged on 24 July with conspiracy to supply class B drugs.
Joseph Boyle, 43, of Dartnell Road, Croydon, who was arrested in March has been charged with money laundering offences.
